2025 County Awards of Excellence Winner

The Virginia Farm Bureau County Awards of Excellence recognize initiatives that strengthen the organization and demonstrate the value of membership to our communities.

We are pleased to announce that this year's first-place award has been presented to Loudoun County Farm Bureau, under the leadership of President Avis Renshaw. The organization developed and implemented a three-part educational series examining the evolution of agriculture in Loudoun County through the lens of Past, Present, and Future.

The series was designed with three primary objectives: to build community among agricultural stakeholders, to facilitate meaningful dialogue about the challenges and opportunities facing local agriculture, and to develop a shared vision for the future of farming in the region.

Drawing more than 250 participants, including established farmers, aspiring producers, community members, and local government officials, the series has made a significant and lasting impact on Loudoun County's agricultural community.

We are honored to accept this award from Virginia Farm Bureau.
